Riders meet on a Sunday afternoon at pre booked accommodation after a long drive. Springbok is 1 200km from Pretoria and almost 700km from Cape Town.

Dinner is provided where old friends greet and new ones are met .

Thus far the route has changed every year but the principle remains that riders will return to Springbok via a circular route 6 days later. The exact route is determined closer to the Tour depending on the condition of the roads and presence of flowers. The accommodation however is booked long in advance and do not change.

Day One (Monday)
Springbok to Kamieskroon . 70/80 kms .

Day Two (Tuesday)
Day off or easy or hard ride depending on the weather and the riders. We may even split in groups . As we stay over in the same accommodation all requirements iro riding can be accommodated . Either a ride towards Leliefontein or Skilpad camp.

Day Three (Wednesday)
Cycle to Agama tented Camp close to Garies. Again more than one route is available , 85 or 54 kms.

The setting , accommodation and food at Agama as well as the hospitality of the hosts are unbeatable.

Day Four ( Thursday )

Day at leisure or easy or hard cycle on the farm .

We stay another night at Agama.

Day Five ( Friday )

We cycle back to Kamieskroon and take a route depending on the weather and how we feel .

Day Six ( Saturday )

We cycle back to where we left the cars in Springbok which we should reach by noon and depart for our various destinations. Between 70 and 80 kms

Accommodation in Springbok can be arranged at an extra cost.
